Frequently Asked Questions
My child has never skated. Can they still come?
Yes! A lot of our kids are beginners. We teach fundamentals during the first week. Everyone gets better fast.
Do you provide skates or do I bring my own?
Skates are included. Bring your own if you prefer — just label them.
Do we have to pack lunch every day?
No — you have two options. Pack your child's lunch (free), OR buy the $5/day camp meal (pizza or hot dog + chips + drink + snack). You can mix and match day by day. Pick at registration.
Can I sign up for just one week or one day?
Yes — single weeks or single days both work. Daily drop-in is $30, subject to availability.
Is my child in a group with other kids their age?
Yes — we split into three color-coded age groups: Minis (5–6), Middles (7–9), and Seniors (10–12). Skate instruction and crafts are age-group-specific. Lunch, arcade, and free play are mixed so siblings can see each other.
Do you offer transportation?
No — parent drop-off and pickup only.
Do you do field trips?
No — that's intentional. Your child stays at Skate Mania every single day. Safer, simpler, and we have plenty of fun on-site.
Can my child bring a phone?
We discourage it — phones get lost, broken, or stolen. If your child must have one, they're responsible for keeping track of it. We are not responsible for lost or damaged phones.
What if my child doesn't want to skate?
Skating is a big part of camp, but we have a full arcade, floor games, craft table, and movie time. No child is forced to skate. We encourage, we don't require.
Do you take kids with special needs or on the autism spectrum?
Our camp is designed for typically-developing children who are independent with toileting, following multi-step directions, and managing themselves in a group setting. We don't have specialized staff. If you're not sure camp is a fit, please talk to us before enrolling.
How many kids will be there?
Our summer 2026 weekly cap is 125 campers, grouped by age with dedicated counselors per group.
What's your refund policy?
Full refund if cancelled 14+ days before your first booked week, minus the $15 non-refundable registration fee. No refunds less than 14 days out.
Lock in $110/week before May 4
Pay in full by May 4 and save $15/week per kid — that's $135 off a full-summer enrollment.
